SMART-6GSAT
1st 6G Satellite Communications Summit
KTH Royal Institute of Technology
Stockholm, Sweden • 28–29 January 2026
Venue: Birger Jarl Hotel • Stockholm, Sweden

About the Summit

An industry–academia meeting to discuss satellite-enabled 6G in Sweden

Join leaders from industry, academia, and the public sector for two energizing days charting the future of integrated terrestrial–non-terrestrial 6G networks. Expect forward-looking keynotes and dynamic panels that dive into real-world use cases and societal impact; the roadmap for integrated 6G–satellite communications; implications for mobile network operations and the wider business ecosystem; spectrum sharing across GEO, LEO and terrestrial 6G (and the regulations that enable it); space systems; and cutting-edge satellite antenna design.

The summit also highlights emerging talent through a dedicated student poster session showcasing cutting-edge research from the community. This page provides the programme overview and speaker lineup to support your planning. Registration is handled separately, secure your place via the registration portal and be part of the conversation shaping 6G in the sky.
